Towson Court Docket Overview
Baltimore County Circuit Court Dockets in Towson
The Baltimore County Circuit Court sits at 401 Bosley Ave., Towson, MD 21204. As the county seat courthouse, Towson handles all Circuit Court matters for Baltimore County. That includes civil cases over $30,000, felony criminal proceedings, family law filings, juvenile matters, probate appeals, and any case that requires a jury trial. Searching Towson Court Docket Records Online
Maryland offers free public access to court docket records through Maryland Case Search. No account is needed. The system covers both Circuit Court and District Court records statewide, including all cases filed in Towson and Baltimore County. You complete a CAPTCHA verification step before any search results load. This applies to every search session.
To search for Towson or Baltimore County cases, select "Baltimore County" as the jurisdiction. You can search by party name, case number, citation number, attorney name, or filing date range. For name searches, enter the last name first, then a comma and the first name. Use the percent sign (%) as a wildcard at the end of a name for partial matches. For example, "Will%" returns Williams, Willis, Willard, and other names starting with those letters. The wildcard cannot be placed at the start or middle of a word. Search results are capped at 500 entries, so add more detail if you get too many results back.
One important change that took effect in 2024: criminal cases that ended in dismissal, nolle prosequi, or acquittal no longer show up in the online search results. You can still access those records in person at the Towson courthouse, but they are removed from the public online database. This applies statewide, not just in Baltimore County.
The database updates nightly. A case filed or changed today may not appear in search results until the following morning. For same-day docket status, call the clerk's office directly.
